Artist Statement

Growing up in my family’s flower shop, I was surrounded by the remnants of creation—cut stems, wet foam bricks, scattered petals, and exhausted newspapers—discarded fragments that sparked my artistic exploration. Flowers, with their symbolism of birth, love, and death, became central to my work, which spans sculpture, painting, ceramics, photography, video, and more.

Process is everything to me. Creating, deconstructing, and reconstructing are endless cycles that mirror nature’s rhythms: growth, decay, and renewal. I thrive on exploring new environments and materials, often transforming decay into new life. My art is both deeply personal and an offering to others—a space for reflection and connection. For me, art is not just about the finished piece; it’s about honoring the process and the connections it fosters.
